Principal / Associate Landscape Architect - East London

We're excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Principal / Associate Landscape Architect to join a well-established Landscape Architectural practice based in East London. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact within a supportive, kind and collaborative team environment. Our client is committed to delivering top-notch landscape architecture and environmental solutions, ensuring the utmost respect for nature and the communities they serve.

Ideally, they would be looking for an experienced individual already in a similar position. However, they would also be willing to support an individual looking to step up into this position. 

The successful Principal / Associate Landscape Architect will be offered: 

  • £50,000 - £65,000, depending on experience
  • Potential hybrid working (1 - 2 days from home)

Principal / Associate Landscape Architect requirements:

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is essential
  • Being of Chartered status would be advantageous.
  • A strong background in landscape architecture, ideally experienced working on public sector projects 
  • A willingness to be hands-on with both projects and a mentor to the junior members of the team 
  • Solid understanding of environmental principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key duties of Principal / Associate Landscape Architect will include but will not be limited to:

  • Leading landscape architecture projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conducting site assessments and developing innovative design solutions.
  • Preparing and presenting project proposals, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members to foster professional growth.
