We've recently taken on a new position for a Paraplanner to join our clients, a well-established Financial Planning firm in Kettering, Northamptonshire. For the right individual, they are offering great earning potential, and career path. The successful will require previous experience and provide a professional level of support to the team of Financial Advisors.
Working hours:
- Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm
- Office based
The successful Paraplanner will be offered:
- Basic salary £40,000 (DOE)
- 25 days plus bank holidays

To be considered for the Paraplanner role you must have the following:
- Relevant qualifications (R01 or Level 4 Diploma)
- Excellent Communication skills (telephone and face-to-face)
- Organisation Skills
- Ability to be proactive and work well in a team.
As a Paraplanner, your role will involve:
- Respond to all communications in a timely fashion.
- Produce discussion documents and suitability reports.
- Using relevant tools research product suitability and services ensuring that our clients have the best “whole of market advice” made available to them when they need it.
- Input into and follow the Company Central Investment Proposition.
- Prepare and save, as per company guidelines, relevant technical paperwork in order that the administrators can prepare for adviser-client meetings, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork is prepared and ready for presentation to the client by the adviser.
- Follow up and discuss with the provider, adviser, client or administrator as necessary ensuring a regular communication flow in order that business is concluded.
- Ensure registers and logs are kept up to date and reviewed on a regular basis.
- Take responsibility for dealing with client issues in order to lead to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Keep up to date with legislative changes, attending seminars, briefings and meeting with broker consultants relevant to the Paraplanning role.
- Regularly communicate on compliance matters as they arise with colleagues.
- Ensure that all compliance procedures relevant to your area of expertise are in place and adhered to by colleagues ensuring the Compliance Officer is aware of any important issues.
- Make sure that colleagues are aware of any changes to key technical material in a timely and professional manner.
- Pass details relating to producing invoices for clients to the Office Manager.
- Work as part of a team with the other paraplanners ensuring Company guidelines are adhered to.
- Ensure the Company database is kept up to date.
- Carry out ad hoc project and administration work as requested by the Management Team
- Take an appropriate role in seminars and events.
