Due to expansion and an increase in business, our clients, an independent practice based in the Borehamwood area, are looking to recruit a Mortgage Advisor on an employed basis. The position will require an individual holding CeMAP and will look at both experienced (will required CAS) and trainee applications.

Our clients are offering this position on an office-based basis, with leads, admin support and training provided.

Working hours:

  • Monday – Friday | 9 – 5:30
  • On call over the weekends from home, answering any calls which my come through (will then be classed as your lead)

The successful Mortgage Advisor will be offered:

  • Basic Salary £30,000
  • For an applicant joining on a Trainee basis, lower salary during 6 - month Probation period, which will then increase.
  • Fully uncapped commission scheme ranging from 10 – 15%
  • OTE £50,000 - £60,000

Mortgage Advisor requirements:

  • Driven to achieve targets and ability to offer excellent customer service.
  • Ability to deal with high volume of 1st appointments and subsequent signups.
  • Fully CeMAP qualified with mortgage broking experience
  • CAS Status preferable
  • Full UK Driving license.
  • Knowledge of New Build Mortgages is preferable.

Responsibilities for the role of Mortgage Advisor:

  • Arranging mortgage and mortgage-related insurance products
  • Ensure all appointments are followed up and managed in a timely manner.
  • Undertaking both face-to-face and telephone fact-finds as required.
  • Ensure current regulation guidelines including, Money laundering and GDPR requirements are adhered to.
  • Diligent and focused on providing the highest level of mortgage advice and customer service to clients.
  • Following the mortgage sales process, ensuring full compliance at all times.
  • Visit and maintain relationships with introduced / clients.
  • Ensure that all documentation is current and up-to-date
