Mid Interior Designer - Central London

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Mid Interior Designer to join our clients an award-winning interior design studio to work on projects both in London and the UAE. They are rapidly expanding their team in London due to the increase in projects and the company’s future growth plans. This is why this position in the first instance will be working from home until next year when the procurement of their London office has been completed.

Ideally, they are looking for someone with a strong background in residential projects dealing with developers and 3-5 years of experience. 

This position will see the successful individual play a crucial role in developing creative interior design solutions for residential and commercial spaces across the GCC and UK.

The successful Mid Interior Designer will be offered:

  • £30,000 –  £40,000 (Negotiable) 
  • Career progression
  • Monday to Friday
  • WFH – (This position will be working from home until next year when the procurement of the office has been completed. Once completed this position will be working from the office)

Mid Interior Designer requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a design firm or architectural practice.
  • Strong background in residential projects dealing with developers
  • Proficient in conceptualization, space planning, and material selection.
  • Passion for design and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

The key responsibilities of the Mid Interior Designer:

  • Assist in the development of design concepts and space planning layouts
  • Create mood boards and select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories for each project.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Present design proposals and solicit feedback from clients
  • Travel for client meetings, site visits (monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control) and industry events.
  • Work closely with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD & InDesign
  • Knowledgeable about building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design.
  • Ability to guide CAD Designers in detailed drawings documents
