We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Administration to join our clients, an ever-growing independent mortgage practice in Norwich.

This pivotal role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in mortgage administration, coupled with proven experience as a supervisor or team leader. As the Head of Administration, you will oversee and enhance their administrative operations, and manage a team of administrators ensuring the seamless support of our mortgage advisors and the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.

The successful Head of Administration will be offered:

  • £28,000 - £30,000 Basic (Depending on Experience)
  • Monday to Friday 9 am – 6 pm
  • 20 days + Bank holidays (Your Birthday off if it falls on a working day)
  • On-site Parking

Head of Administration Requirements:

  • Previous Mortgage Administration experience is desirable.
  • Previous experience managing/supervising a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word and outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Head of Administration Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of administrators.
  • Assist the team with telephone calls to mortgage lenders, solicitors, insurance providers and GP’sto obtain the latest case updates and report these back to the corresponding mortgage advisors.
  • Keeping internal records updated-Handle queries from Mortgage Advisors / Estate agents and Managing Directors.
  • Additional duties in busier periods, including producing marketing materials to send externally toreferrers.
  • Assisting with keying mortgages up until submission of the application.
  • Allocating referrals to Mortgage Advisors and liaising with Estate Agents.
  • Providing weekly and monthly updates to Estate agents.
  • Assisting the Managing Directors with ad-hoc duties when required
