Graduate Landscape Architect - Worthing

We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team in the environmental and design practice.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in innovative landscape design projects that enhance both natural and urban environments. And due to the mix of projects, you will have a rare opportunity to expand your range of experience, enhancing your skills. In addition to being responsible for the assessment, design, and production of your own individual landscape design / planning projects and also other team-based projects.

Graduate Landscape Architect requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
  • Strong design sensitivity and creativity with a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Vectorworks
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate effective time management skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and environmental regulations.
  • Relentless curiosity and a desire to learn and grow 

Key duties of the Graduate Landscape Architect role will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Assist in the preparation of landscape design proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with senior landscape architects on project development and execution. Managing your own time and your individual project requirements within the overall landscape team
  • Conduct site assessments and analyze landscape design requirements.
  • Create detailed drawings, models, and visualizations
  • Responsible for the assessment, design, and production of your own individual landscape design / planning projects and also other team-based projects
  • Participate in on-site project meetings and contribute to the project management process.
  • Research materials and new design trends to support project development.
  • Assist in developing planting plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Support environmental restoration projects and community engagement efforts
